18K, 22K & 24K yellow gold, antique carved jade

With exceptional skill and complex, ornate design, master jeweler, Alexandra Watkins created a work of intricate device to capture the soul. With high karat gold, the maker skillfully shapes the work. With contemporary invention, she constructed two elongated golden projections to gracefully frame the neck. The maker made allowance for the projections to move in and out of the pendant, which lies below. Above, the artist creates a jovial expression by carefully creating fine golden shapes to embellish the clasp. Its animated personality gaily transpires to the body of the pendant, which becomes the eye's main affection. Watkin's vivid imagination ties modern elegance with classic conception and eloquent vivacity. The large, central form delicately cradles a deep green, antique jade stone. Following the stone's perpetual reflection, its precious effulgence is positioned further below between undulating golden forms. Waves of sheer opulence captivates as the piece's fluid movement works to cajole the design. Such a pairing of the stone's green hue and the radiance of the precious metal sways the heart in its pure elation.
